What is VERISCAN™?

Innovation has been at the core of the PAMP brand since its first bullion bar. In 2015, they launched VERISCAN™, a proprietary system aimed at facilitating the authentication of PAMP bullion products. Scans are completely free, enabling every user to authenticate their products safely and reliably.

VERISCAN™ enables instant, secure and confidential authentication of any PAMP product bearing the VERISCAN™ logo on its CertiPAMP™ assay card or certificate.

The Science: Your Gold Bar’s Unique Fingerprint

VERISCAN™ operates on a fascinating principle: just as in nature, even man-made products possess microscopic ‘surface profiles’ as individual and distinctive as a fingerprint.

  • During production, VERISCAN™ captures and securely stores a digital record of the product’s unique surface profile.
  • When you scan your bar, the technology identifies and compares the live surface profile with the original production record.
  • If they match, you receive instant authentication.

Please note: Only minted products bearing the VERISCAN™ logo on the CertiPAMP™ assay card packaging or printed on paper certificates accompanying cast bars, can be authenticated with VERISCAN™

How to Use VERISCAN™: Step-by-Step

1 Download the app – from App Store (iPhone 7 & newer, iOS 12+)

2 Open & watch tutorial – sign in and view the auto-play video.

3 Select ‘Automatic Scan’ and follow on-screen instructions.

4 Scan QR code – located on CertiPAMP™ card or certificate.

5 Packaged or unpackaged? – select product side (front/back).

6 Position camera – align with overlay, keep leveling guide centered.

7 View result – PASS (authentic) or No Result Available.


VERISCAN™ can authenticate any registered PAMP product within or without its sealed CertiPAMP™ assay card packaging. Larger products can be verified on all six sides for enhanced authentication. The process leaves the product completely intact.

No, you can scan directly through the CertiPAMP™ packaging – it is not necessary to remove it.
